Meiosis
Meiosis (MY-O-SIS) is how your body increases sex cells. First one sex cell is divided in two. Then those two divide in two. And then you have four sex cells with two quarters of the first cells chromosome.

MITOSIS
Mitosis (MY-TOS-ISS) is similar to meiosis. Mitosis releases body cells.
It creates two body cell (instead of 4). EXA: If you get a cut, you loose body cells then mitosis recreates those cells cousing your cut to heal.
